  • 100 g seed oil
  • 120 g yogurt white vegetable
  • 130 g brown sugar*
  • 2 g salt

Apple pie

A timeless classic: Apple pie, simple, quick, beautiful and delicious, perfect for any occasion, dinner, a snack or breakfast.

Procedure

1

3

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line the bottom and sides of a 22cm round cake pan with baking paper.

Wash and peel the apples, remove the core and cut 2 apples into small cubes and the third into slices to decorate.

In a bowl, weigh the yogurt, milk, and oil and mix well with a whisk.

4
5
6

In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, salt, and powders, such as flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.

Then pour the liquids onto the powders and mix until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.

7
8
9

Add the diced apples and coarsely chopped walnuts and mix with a spatula.

Pour the mixture into the mold and level it.

10
11
12

Garnish with apple slices and pecans around the edge. Bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes.

13
14

Let it cool at room temperature for about half an hour, then remove the cake from the pan, transfer it to a plate and decorate with icing sugar.

Storage

Store at room temperature for 2 days under a glass bell jar or container. Refrigerate during warmer months. Alternatively, slice and freeze in a sealed container for up to 2 months.

Advice

*You can replace the pecans with regular walnuts or other dried fruit, and the brown sugar with white sugar, whole cane sugar, or coconut.

Apple and cinnamon cake today! I finally found a recipe I like: not too sweet, just the right amount of moist, and the perfect consistency

I didn't add pecans because I didn't have them at home, but it still came out great."

Ada

“Apple, cinnamon and walnut cake 😋

I used classic walnuts because I only found toasted and salted pecans😅

Alessia is always a guarantee!”

Chiara

“Very easy and delicious apple pie, spectacular!”

“Really delicious and suitable for omnivorous relatives and friends.”

Martina

“Apple and pecan pie: since I didn’t have any at home, I replaced the pecans with hazelnuts and the yogurt with mascarpone (100g + 20g of milk): delicious!”

It's not your average apple pie, the pecans make all the difference!!
